Purposes of the processing activity:
While participating in events, we may produce photographs and video recordings of the participants. These may be published on our website, in print media, or on our social media channels.
Representatives of the local press may also be present and produce image material – the respective media companies are responsible for the processing of these materials.
Legal basis of the processing activity:
The processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller in acc. with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR or by a third party, except where such interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.
Participants at the events are informed in advance of the possibility of recording as well as subsequent processing.
Consent in acc. with Art. 6(1)(a) for the production of targeted close-ups or interviews has been given. The consent requirements in acc. with Art. 7(1)-(4) GDPR are thereby met.
Categories of recipients and groups of persons:
- Internal (marketing, event management.)
- Other recipients (The recordings may be published on the Internet and thereby be available to an unspecified number of recipients.)
Data transfer to third countries:
No transmission to third countries is planned.

Period of storage of the personal data:
Deletion one year after conclusion of the event.
Rights of the data subject:
You have the right (in acc. with. Art. 15 GDPR) to obtain from the controller confirmation of the personal data concerning you as well as the right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) and restriction of processing (Art. 18 Abs. 1 GDPR). Furthermore, you have a right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR) as well as the right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).
